Azienda Agricola Liso
A project born in the 1950s out of the enthusiasm of brothers Riccardo, Silverio and Nicola Liso, which was succeeded by the desire to make innovative choices by their sons Michele, Gianni and Michele.
Located in the countryside of Andria-Barletta-Trani, an area renowned for its fruit and vegetable vocation, the company covers a total area of approximately 95 hectares cultivated with table grapes, peaches, nectarines and apricots. An establishment of 3,300 m2, located within the production area, allows the freshly harvested fruit to be optimally processed and subsequently stored in special refrigerator cells, to safeguard the freshness and nutritional qualities of the final product. Our processing warehouse includes the most innovative calibration and packaging lines for stone fruit and asparagus, guaranteeing the possibility of offering a vast range of processes and sizes depending on customer requests. The company of a total of 95 hectares is made up of a large plot of approximately 70 hectares adjacent to the factory, plus another 25 hectares located in other areas between Andria and Trani.
Production consists of:
- 34 hectares of peaches, nectarines, apricots Global Gap certified
- 55 hectares of table grapes Global Gap certified
Production is integrated, reaching 200 hectares with the collaboration of trusted external agricultural companies which have historically been part of our organization and which follow our same corporate philosophy in producing and seeking quality. The LISO family personally takes care of its own production, also making use of the collaboration of specialized technical personnel and implementing the most modern orchard cultivation techniques.
The cultivated varieties are carefully chosen to fully respond to consumer requests, but in full harmony with the characteristics of the soil and climate, to give the fruit its most natural organoleptic properties. We select the best nectar of the Gods, which finds the ideal ecosystem in the easternmost land of Italy; capable of producing the brightest, sweetest and crunchiest grapes of superior quality. Let's collect peaches fragrant and fleshy, with sweet pulp and unique thirst-quenching properties. Let's choose the apricots tastier, with a velvety skin and full-bodied sweetness. And finally, let's look for the best words to talk about abroad “the Apulian peach”, the why, with firm pulp and rich fiber content.
We believe in the scent of our fruits, in respect for the consumer, and in those values that allow us to represent the most authentic Puglia throughout Europe.
