NATURAL LEMONS

Lemons are the fruits of the lemon tree (Citrus limon), a plant of the Rutaceae family. Lemons are generally oval in shape, yellow in colour, the peel is more or less thick depending on the variety, they are made up of segments and their flavor is sour. There are some varieties in which no seeds are found.

The lemon, like all citrus fruits, is native to southern and south-eastern Asia, especially the mountains of Indochina. In Europe, for a long time, the lemon was considered only as a legendary tree with perennial fruits and flowers. Lemon tree is also the title of a pop song by the German group Fool's Garden: the single reached the top of the international charts in 1996.
